Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2026 • Last Updated: June 1, 2026

1. Introduction & Local-First Commitment

Welcome to EightOneTen Studio ("we", "our", "us"). We build premium, mobile applications available on the Google Play Store, including FocusEight, Nebula Runner, and TenNotes.

We are firmly committed to a Local-First, Privacy-Absolute software philosophy. This means our default architectural choice is to store and process all application data directly on your physical mobile device. We do not maintain centralized cloud servers to harvest your personal documents, notes, focus logs, or gameplay records.

2. Information We Collect

Because our applications operate locally, the scope of data collection is extremely narrow and restricted solely to enabling core device functions:

  • Personal Data: We do not collect, request, or store any personally identifiable information (such as your name, physical address, phone number, or biometric profiles).
  • Application-Specific Data: Note files inside TenNotes, focus session metrics inside FocusEight, and game progress profiles inside Nebula Runner are written to secure local directories (using the Android Keystore and Keystore Encryption mechanisms). We have zero visibility into this data.
  • Device Permissions: Our apps may request standard permissions (e.g., biometric prompt validation, notification channels, battery optimization exemptions). These permissions are executed purely on-device and are never transmitted to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services & Google Play Services

Our applications are distributed through the Google Play Store. To facilitate secure delivery and optional updates, our applications utilize Google Play Services. Google Play Services may collect certain automated parameters (such as installation metrics, crash reports, and system telemetry). This collection is governed solely by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Security & Encryption

For applications managing sensitive content (such as TenNotes), data is locked using military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption. The cryptographic keys are compiled inside the device's secure hardware hardware-backed Android Keystore system. If you uninstall the application or factory reset your mobile device, the secure vaults will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us, ensuring absolute protection against offline extraction attempts.

5. Children's Privacy

Our mobile applications do not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. Because our architectures prevent remote data transmission, our systems comply naturally with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) guidelines.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to align with Google Play Store compliance revisions. Any modifications will be posted directly on this URL with an updated Effective Date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

7. Contact Support

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy or your data rights, please contact our support desk: support@eightoneten.com.
